Park City Luxury Travel Guide

Summer Travel

For the uninitiated, Park City, Utah may not sound like a luxury destination at first consideration. However, nestled amidst the breathtaking Wasatch Mountain Range, this picturesque town is not only a haven for winter sports enthusiasts but also an exquisite destination for those seeking a luxurious summer getaway. Our family had the pleasure of experiencing all the city has to offer, so join us as we unveil the hidden gems of Park City, where adventure, relaxation, and indulgence converge to create an unforgettable experience.

Luxury Lodging: Park City, Utah

Park City is home to a multitude of cozy cabins and luxury resorts. We had the pleasure of experiencing all the amenities of Hotel Park City, situated adjacent to the Park City Golf Club. The suites and service were impeccable, with an authentic air to all decor. Hotel Park City, provides all the creature comforts needed for a luxury traveler while maintaining a rustic ambiance and central location that make for easy access to all activities in the area. We loved the view of the driving range and mountains from our suites, the easy arrival to our early morning tea-times, and the next door Ruth Chris steakhouse for a calm dinner without driving.

Remember to ask about Pet Policies to ensure your furry friends can come along.

Luxury Dining: Park City, Utah

While there are numerous hotels bolstering delicious gastronomy (like the delicious Apex at Montage Deer Valley) - We opted for Main Street Eateries while exploring the local fare and shopping, here were our top picks:

For Lunch: The Eating Establishment

The Eating Establishment in Park City earns the title of local institution. Opened in 1972, The Eating Establishment has been a beloved diner to three generations of locals and visitors to Park City, and offers a plethora of delicious options under the guidance of chef Brendan Kawakami, while preserving the original spirit of a ‘breakfast all day’. We made delicious memories sharing a family style meal of Charcuterie, fresh greens, and expertly crafted cocktails.

For Dinner: Handle

Before you enter Main Street Park City, you’re greeted by the roman font sign of “Handle” on the corner of Herber Avenue. Inside you’ll find a modern take on locally sourced cuisine. The tutelage of executive Chef Briar Handly in unison with Melissa Gray, Meagan Nash and their expert staff bring to life the well plated dishes and well curated spirit selection. We fell in love with the Pork Belly and Green Gazpacho appetizers, phenomenal “Baller” Prime Ribeye and thankfully saved room for the delectable “Best” Bar made with local NORMAL earl gray ice cream.

Activities: Park City, Utah

Short and long stays are thoroughly enjoyable in Park City, though a longer stay may prove more relaxing. While we braved a fully packed weekend of adventure, we curated these enticing activities you may enjoy as much as we did.

  • Looking for a phenomenal game of golf? Enjoy the views and mountain streams of the Park City Golf Club.

  • For a relaxing day of pampering: Book the ‘Peace Within’ Treatment at the Spa Montage and be sure to add the CBD Massage.

  • Looking for Hiking and Views? Explore the Ski Lifts at Deer Valley Resort - We recommend riding the sterling express up to Snowshoe Tommy’s atop Mount Baldy for a cooling refreshment after mountain biking or hiking. (See the Events Page for unique experiences)
